Hiking in Artas

submitted by Artas Folklore Center
10.04.2012

Thanks to Musa Sanad, founder of the Artas Folklore Center, Artas was the first village where organized hiking took place in Modern Palestine. Though other organizations now also offer hiking in the Artas Valley, the Artas Folklore Center continues to find ways to keep things fresh and distinctive by highlighting its unique natural and cultural heritage. It is currently at work developing the Artas Folklore Trail -In the Footsteps of Solomon.
