All Ali's male boys died at an early age. He had one son Nimir who survived. Ali Masrieh and wife Aysha El Haj Ahamd Abbas in order to protect their son Nimir from the evil eye, accepted to let him get raised at her sister's house Amneh, who was married to Abdel-Qader Masrieh, Ali's brother.
