This is a charcoal portrait of my great-great-grandfather, Abdalah Tareh, and his father (whose name I don't know).
According to my (recently deceased) grand Aunt Rogelia Taré, this painting was done by my great-grand-uncle Alberto Taré, son of Abdalah. We don't know what year it's from, or if he painted it before emigrating from Beit-Jala or afterwards.
Este es un retrato al carboncillo de mi tátarabuelo, Abdalah Tareh, y su padre (cuyo nombre desconozco).
De acuerdo con mi (recientemente fallecida) tía abuela Rogelia Taré, este retrato fue hecho por mi tío bisabuelo Alberto Taré, hijo de Abdalah. No sabemos de qué año es, ni si lo pintó antes de emigrar de Beit-Jala o después.
