The textile shop is the first business activities for most of the Palestinian immigrants in The Republic of Chile.
Most of the Palestinians started their life in Patronato neighbourhood in Santiago, however, for Chahuan and Musa families, originally from Beit Jala, their second hometown was La Calera.
Nowadays, the Chinese products are flooding the local market, therefore, most of these textile shops have disappeared. Palestinians started to look for different kinds of investments.
In the photo, Mr. Elias Musa and his family in their well-stocked textile shop.
